one down and a whole bunch to go..

Yay this is my first post!!!! Yesterday I was on the road back from a family vacation to Disney World so I was not able to write. However, I started my bible reading during the ride and so far I love it. My plan instructed me to read Genesis 1-2 and Psalm 1. Pretty basic stuff but great nonetheless. The story of creation and Adam and Eve is one I know well, but as I dug deeper I realized that God created the world I live in and I need to be more aware of that. He saw that the world was good, and that is my new goal for the week. To realize that the world is good and I am lucky to be where I am. Psalm 1 was also straightforward and to the point. It showed me that walking in the way of the Lord will bring me great things, and that walking in evil will get me nowhere fast. I find it really hard sometimes to be happy and optimistic when i am not getting my way. I guess nobody is perfect. I am looking forward to what the next reading brings. For now though I am going to relax and rest my mind. Disney World was super fun but it took all my energy away from me. Hope everybody had an excellent new year, and that your journey is blessed.
